Room Features
We have a total of 59 rooms here at the Inn at Cannon Beach. You can find a complete listing of all our rooms in the “During Your Stay” section.
The information below will help you become better acquainted with your room. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to call the Front Desk (dial “0” on your phone).
Air Conditioning & Fans
The need for air conditioning is so infrequent in Cannon Beach, that only eighteen of our rooms come equipped with air conditioning [100,151-160, 251-260]. In rooms without air conditioning, there are personal fans in the closets for your use.
In the rooms equipped with air conditioning, the units are operated with remote controls mounted on the walls near the units themselves. Make sure the desired setting is selected by pressing the “Mode” button.
The “On/Off” button controls the power.
To set the desired temperature, use the up and down arrow keys. Press the ‘arrow down’ key (called “Too Warm”) to lower the displayed temperature. Likewise, press the ‘arrow up’ key (called “Too Cold”) to raise the current temperature. Now you are ready to fine tune a couple things. Select and press “Fan” to control the four speeds. Select and press the button labeled “Vane” to adjust the direction of the vents and airflow.

Fireplaces
The gas fireplaces do an excellent job of heating the rooms. There is a switch or a timer on the wall of the fireplace that ignites/extinguishes the fire.
Heaters
If the fireplace doesn’t provide enough heat for you, there is an additional heater controlled by the wall thermostat. Just set to desired temperature and relax. Be careful not to put anything directly in front of the heaters, as they can overheat and short out.
Internet Access
The Inn offers wireless internal connectivity for your convenience. During the check-in process you were provided with a password, located on your property map. Simply turn on your laptop and open your internet browser like you would at home. Select the Inn at Cannon Beach as your wireless signal, enter the password, agree to Terms and Conditions, and away you go. This is a complimentary service.
Irons and Ironing Boards
Located in your closet. Please remember to unplug the iron as soon as you are finished.
Jetted Tubs
There are two-person jetted tubs in many of our rooms. Press the water stopper down until it catches in the drain. Fill the tub to preferred water level (must be at least 2” above the jets), but do not overfill to avoid spilling. Turn the timer on the wall to ON. Press the center button to turn jets on/ off. To adjust the pressure of the jets, turn the 2 side dials. When you are done, press and release the stopper.
Microwaves
For popcorn and other heating needs, set the chosen cook time, and press the “Start” button. Please, never put metal inside a microwave.
Pillows & Blankets
You will find additional pillows and blankets in the closet and dresser drawers. If more are needed, just dial “0” for the Front Desk.
Pet Baskets
If you are staying here with your dog, cat, bird, or any other pet, you should receive a pet basket in your room. Since most of our animal visitors are dogs, the baskets aim to meet their needs. They come with a sleeping sheet, doggie towel, and a package of treats and dog “duty” bags. There is also a dog bag dispenser on the south end grass area of our property. Please ask for more doggie towels at the Front Desk rather than using room towels.
Refrigerator
There is a temperature dial for the refrigerator on the inside, top shelf of the unit. The dial turns from “Minimum” temperature – warmest, to “Maximum” temperature – the coldest setting.
Ice Bucket
There is an ice bucket in your guest room and ice is available in numerous locations throughout The Inn. For your convenience, there is an ice machine located outside the building by the lobby, as well as bagged ice coolers on the 1st and 2nd floor of the north building.
Telephones
Please see card attached to phone for your dialing instructions. Local, room-to-room and emergency calls are free. A blinking red light on your phone means you have a message waiting at the Front Desk.
Televisions
Press the “Power On” button on the TV itself or on the remote, and you’re good to go.
